I managed to cut at least half of the original video, which was over six minutes and half of length.
Finding the Aurora Borealis in FS2002/FS2004/FSX is quite easy if you know what to do and what you are doing. I set the time to a winter night in January. The location and altitude can be heard/read on the video itself when I talk to the airspace controller and the panel.
Meteors hunting make the Aurora Borealis hunting sound extremely easy since you have to keep an eye on the monitor all the time. The meteor travels at a high speed and may disappear quickly after appearing.
