An early morning at Terminal 1 of Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam we boarded a small plane flown by Auric Air. It was a sunny and warm morning with scattered clouds. About a half hour later the plane approaches Zanzibar City on Unguja island and lands at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport. A few passengers disembarked and a few others replaced them. Soon we where back in the air and now several dark clouds had gathered around us. The sky cleared up as we flew over the sandbanks of south Pemba and landed at the really small Karume Airport at Pemba.
