Rain could not slow them down.
During #FleetWeekHouston, 330 members of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard chose to spend a rainy afternoon at the Houston Zoo—exploring habitats, meeting animals, and discovering which species especially enjoy Houston’s wet weather.
Their visit ended with a special sea lion presentation, where they learned more about their care, personalities, conservation challenges, and the importance of protecting their natural habitat—the one ocean we all share.
