Not the first time our content has been copied, and probably not the last…but definitely the most word for word, angle for angle, edit for edit duplicate we’ve ever seen.

What are your thoughts on this? On the one hand - imitation is the highest form of flattery. And it’s great that more people can become familiar with the incredible benefits of traditional Chinese medicine.

On the other hand, Gua Sha and other Chinese medicine techniques require years of training to practice effectively and safely. Is it ok when content creators without background in TCM duplicate the work of practitioners as their own?

My hope is that you can get to know and use Chinese medicine in any way that it can benefit your health and your life. And when influencers aren’t able to fully support your needs, look for acupuncturists - also known as Chinese medicine practitioners for guidance.

TCM practitioners are some of the hardest working healthcare practitioners out there. We don’t always have time to make social content for you as we’re busy with patient care. But we’re here for you and want you to have the most accurate and positively life changing experience possible, in the safest way possible.

How can you tell if someone is a TCM practitioner? Check out our stories and highlights for previous posts we’ve made that help you answer this important question.
