August 21, 2017 solar eclipse from 12,000 miles altitude.
Ground view: youtube.com/watch?v=6_Pwwnnpl50
From sun's perspective: youtube.com/watch?v=i7Km7nLy-z4

JPL HORIZONS ephemerides data animated on an azimuthal equidistant "flat earth" map.
New in v3.32
Added 92 brightest stars, with color in Kelvin and visual magnitude represented in diameter.
Flat Moon, Sun and Stars. Planets will be flattened in next version. Needed because the refraction in the atmosplane makes spherical objects look egg shaped. If they are flat, this doesn't happen because it's the vertical dimension that is most effected by refraction.
