OceanX | Flashback Phenomenon Captured During a Deep Sub Dive in Indonesia @OceanX | Uploaded June 2024 | Updated October 2024, 10 hours ago.
It's been a beautiful week full of megafauna and amazing sights in Indonesia as we continue our research mission. During one of our sub dives, we even got to experience the "flashback phenomenon". This is when bioluminescent creatures from the deep will mimic flashes of light back at us. We're also running our water samples through a DNA sequencer onboard OceanXplorer to learn more about all the creatures that have passed through these waters. Which ocean creature's DNA do you think we will find?
