EDIT: Project is cancelled due to program conversion issues. Ive wanted to experiment using Toon Boom Harmony for this but I think I aimed too high and I need more time learning Toon Boom Harmony before I make another big jump like this.
Heres a 30 second preview of my next biggest personal project that Ive been teasing for a while! Its going to incorporate both sprite and drawn elements together into something I might actually be proud of! Enjoy!

An unfinished short from 2018, when I was debating on working for Death Battle. This was the straw that broke the camels back in my want to go from sprite to hand-drawn animation regarding dynamic shots and angles. I wanted to make something really fluent but I simply got too frustrated to continue due to the ceilings I kept hitting with this animation and that was what prompted me to make my best 15 Second Collab 2 entry hand-drawn.
If I ever go back to do something like this, Im 100% hand-drawing it. Otherwise, this was another breather away from the usual Kirby related content I do and I wanted to express my love for both of these franchises. I started out in the Super Mario community before Kirby, believe it or not!

Merry Christmas everyone! (And yay for hitting 400+ subbers!)
Why did I draw this? Because I was hungry during the speedpaint, lol. Dont worry, those small pauses you see throughout the video was me either looking up images on my phone, talking to MaskedGamer on Yahoo! IM or eating noodles.
Went back to the marker, coloured shading style, and I adore it a lot, because for some reason, its the best style I can work with. Huh.
I tried to do a lineless style at first (a test on Violet), but I disliked how it came out and went for the marker shading instead because its easier for me to colour and shade. Also, drawing food makes me hungry.

Only, like, ten people will remember the announcement video I made for this series in 2015 lol. Unfortunately, due to outside complications with my then series co-writer, I had to cancel the project for mental safety reasons. The only thing I have done since then related to this project was create a new logo, which Im still proud of to this day.
This animation specifically was the prologue for a 13 episode mini-series to give a backstory to Violet. Since then though, Ive gotten better in writing and pacing, and Ive now directed all of her backstory development to my ongoing comic series, Sleeper of the Blade.
