This guitar is fitted with a Carlos Juan VIP DM pickup / electronics system. I have the volume on max, the tone in the middle, and about 20% microphone blend to grab more well-defined golpe sounds. The signal chain is pretty complex, so if anybody wants to know, feel free to ask in the comments, but the goal of this video is to show what sort of sound you can get plugged straight into an audio interface with an impulse response. I am processing everything live, so nothing was done in post (except the video fade-in and fade-out) which means this is a great live-streaming setup. What do you think of the sound?
