Some more breakdown from Anime FX in Houdini & Nuke.

This will be the 'final boss' shot that we'll create entirely from scratch (starting with character animation).

Quite a bit of RnD to get this very specific look, but very pleased with this final result. Moreover this is proof of concept that these techniques will work with any render.
