In this video, I show you the NEW Flair 49 Pro - a manual lever machine with advertised 49mm diameter baskets (it's actually closer to 51mm), but with the improved workflow of a removable portafilter. It looks a lot like the Flair 58+ 2 in its design, but this one is smaller, and without a heater. The Flair 49 Pro comes with some nice accessories including two baskets, AND it can use the IMS Hugh precision basket - nice! Let's have a closer look in the video.

► Flair 49 Pro: tidd.ly/4lBZPt5
► Flair Pro 3 (on sale now!): amzlink.to/az0qtGlxCE7P9
► Hugh 51mm basket that fits: amzlink.to/az0mQU83lo8V6
► BooKoo Scale: amzlink.to/az0TSKeWngvBd
► Subminimal Flick: amzlink.to/az0llJ99VtLaw
And now for the people asking about baskets and tamper compatibility:
The Delonghi tamper DLSC080 is 50.5mm and it fits better than the included Flair palm tamper. But, the MHW-3Bomber actually fits better (although it's really snug), as it's 51.15mm. I mean this one: amzlink.to/az04xFnFrZ0dL
As for pre-heating, I recorded these trials:
Session 1: 62 °C after pre-heating for 45 seconds
Session 2: 77 °C after pre-heating for another 45 seconds
Session 3: 82 °C after pre-heating for another 45 seconds
I found that pre-heating twice brought the best results for the effort needed.
