Also, I must apologize for the video quality - I had to put this together in a rush and it's probably the most boring video you'll ever watch xD

1) PINK LEMONADE
as seen in this video:

- this particular coloring is very bright and gives a subtle pinkish hue to your clips. You may need to adjust the brightness settings in order to get other fandoms to work with it. But it does tend to work with most non/Disney movies and even some Live-Action.

2) NEVERLAND

- if you like in-your-face colorings that give a more purple/pink hue, then here you are! This one can be slightly temperamental with darker clips, but works well on bright images and shows like A:TLA or anime.

3) THE BEACH

- I made this one with the intent to make things bright and expressive, but still maintain a little bit of a 'color splash' effect. It tends to dull down excessively bright colors like yellows to a slightly greyer hue, while boosting reds, blues, and greens. In some instances, this one does some wonky stuff during rendering, so just keep an eye on it and make adjustments as necessary.
*quick note - in the vegas file, I have added a Brightness&Contrast effect before the Color Balance at the very beginning of the plug-ins. This is because my Vegas does not like color balance when it is the first effect being applied for some reason. If that is not a problem for you, however, you can go ahead and remove it from the preset

- I wanted to create a coloring that could be used pretty universally that kept most of the original colors of the clips. This one is modeled a tad bit after my Contrast coloring, except it's made to be both smoother and with a yellower tint to your whites.
*quick note - In the actual vegas file, I have included a cookie cutter plug-in that was used when I originally made the coloring for my Liz & Darcy video. Due to the dimensions of my video footage, this helped me control what was going to be seen on those black bars. Feel free to delete that effect if it does not apply to whatever project you are working on (:

- If any of you were wondering what coloring I do for most of my "candyish" styled mep parts (especially those involving fanart), this is the one! It saturates the clips you use while also softening them up to create a fuzzier, friendly(?) approach. Can sometimes oversaturate your clips, but that can easily be fixed by messing with the saturation levels of the color corrector.

6) HEART OF THE OCEAN

- So I made this coloring for the lovely and talented Naomi (aka Quiirkie) for her Blue video featuring Jack & Rose, hence the name of the coloring. This one is made to show blues and reds, while desaturating most of the other colors. Gives a slightly depressing or sad mood to the overall video. Works fairly well on most footage I have tried.

→ Over the course of the competition, Hoshi and Erika start falling for each other. Naturally the time comes when Erika has to stay behind while Hoshi has to move forward. However Hoshi doesn't want to part from Erika and hesitates. But after hearing her sweetheart call out to her (along with a little encouragement from Hughes ♥) she decides to stay in this realm with Erika and be the softest, cottagecore lesbians together. They eventually travel to all sorts of worlds and dimensions on exciting dates.

→ Facing a death forest isn't exactly a romantic location ideal for falling in love with someone, but Cade and Marie find out it isn't so impossible as one might think... Despite the fear of death and the unknown, they grow close - becoming friends and then something much deeper - and when their journey comes to an abrupt end, they become reunited together once more in the same woods where it all began.

Basically Turo contestant chat was a riot. And we had a running joke about Tala and Carlos trying to sneak information about all the tattoos everyone had - which naturally Tami (Tala's editor) and I edited in picture form for history and posterity purposes.

This is my entry for Canon Renaissance's shuffle vidding challenge!
And as always, shuffle vidding be the best way to kick my editing butt into gear haha

What is shuffle vidding?
It's an editing challenge where as a group you select a random song from one of your playlists via shuffle and then swap them with other people who will then edit with the song they've been given. The person you get is random, and I got picked with this song thanks to Emma!

Which I took possibly a little too literally with the lyrics.... But hey. Can't say no to inspiration 😂

So take this study? emphasis? personal commentary? on what I imagine to be Jim's feelings about Silver's betrayal and the constant mask he puts on in front of the rest of the crew - at the expense of Jim's emotions and safety.
(cause friendships be hard woot woot)

This has been a bit of a spontaneous experimental project I started over the past month to sorta help me re-learn how to edit again. It's a bit tragic coming back after a year and a half of no editing cause you find you forget how to do a lot of things after a while😅

I got a bit frustrated with myself because of it. But after Stacy posted her old-school editing challenge, I was inspired to pick up an older project idea I had from back in the day, jumpstart it with one of my older and simpler editing styles, and spend time relearning the techniques and just have fun with it and take it easy, without adding stress about how I wanted it to look vs. how it actually is looking.

And oh gosh, did I get hooked on this project fast haha
It was such a relief and soooooo much fun working on something like this just for me. And I'm actually really happy with the result ♥

I think it's the lack of canon editing in my soul tbh.
I've been craving it so much that it's a definite need at this point. Like seriously I need more adorable canon edits in my feed pwetty pweaaaaaase

Anyway, here is the final outcome of my mini practice session!

It's been forever since I've been able to actually sit down and make something like this, and I can't even put into words just how much I've been missing it ♡
Seriously the lack of editing is torture, I'm so depressed 😅

Unfortunately this part (and hopefully one more if things go well) is most likely the only thing you'll see from me for a while. As a quick update: I haven't been able to get a new laptop yet and am hopping around and borrowing computers from other people as a way to keep up with things as much as I can. It still means editing isn't something I can really do yet. But I'm glad I had a window of opportunity to get back to it again for a little bit :3

This is a special mep PrincessMeg is putting together as a tribute to all the walt disney animation studio movies we know and love. MD2018 • Carlos || The AI Argument [Round 4]

xXAmity0ParkXx 2018-04-26 | Tis been a long and hard journey (as sad as it is to admit considering what I have to post xD)

BUT HERE IT IS!! My round 4 entry
aka, the round where I don't spam the color blue everywhere x'D

But oh gosh guys
This was gonna be a lot longer and more complex, I promise

Like legit, I think I had about 9 plots/scenes planned out x'DDD
But it all ended up being just one of them due to time issues as per the usual xD

Le sadness

BUT! Hopefully this is... kinda sorta okay? And meets the requirements? Eh?
I know it was more so an argumentative debate, but I figured best to stick with what Carlos does - even tho the boy is treading on some mighty thin ice, welp x'DDD
(I really wouldn't doubt him being punished at this rate honestly hahaha)

There's sooooo many things I missed that I'll for sure catch up on later when I have time. But as always, I'll leave any links to entries from the other contestants that feature some of the plots we had planned out in the pinned comment below ;)

Such is my life hahaha

Personality Notes:
- Carlos doesn't care much about the argument, mostly because he has a LOT on his mind atm (if only you guys knewwwww *cries*). And the fact he's never thought about it/even been around an AI to care much before
- As outlined by the notes on his hand (cause the poor guy is not the greatest at speeches), he struggles with which side to lean towards as well as what to say. Especially when he's being broadcasted to a good majority of the galaxy - gotta put a lot of pressure on ya xD
- Initially he leans towards Preed's side, who leads over the anti-A.I. rights argument. Though Carlos wafts a bit upon meeting B.E.N. and doing as much research as his distracted mind can take. He isn't sure about letting ALL A.I.s have the same rights as those who are actually living, particularly since programming can be controlled for negative consequences. But he also doesn't like the idea of denying anyone their freedom given his own need for it - thus the conflicted part
- Carlos also talks a lot to the contestants about their takes on the matter to try and get himself some help in both the opinion (and speech *cough*) department, which includes a study session with Tala and Mirela (thankfully shown by Var's entry, bless your heart! :3)
- The images of the other contestants (Marco, Daniel, and Jon) at the beginning of the video are the ones who speak before Carlos, all but Daniel having their own break-down moments in front of the galaxy. Which of course, doesn't help Carlos in feeling very confident about his lack of written speech xD
- So Carlos does as Carlos does best and wings it... albeit getting a little too rebellious than the audience probably anticipated :')
- The Spanish line is (unfortunately) not a 'Mexican' translation as I had to ask for help last-minute from a Spanish friend rather than quick check with my Mexican friend. (maybe Toni's just rubbing off on him a little, eh eh? ;D)
But welp. Huuuuuge apologies to all the Mexican followers out there! I tried my best T.T
For those interested tho, it roughly translates to: "I think you all are nuts" (crazy, insane, etc. etc.)

(also y'all can even pretend this whole thing is in spanish if you want to tho, as Carlos is very passionate and it's definitely the kind of thing he'd do x'))

Editing Notes:
- On the TV, I named the broadcasting network 'GNN' for 'Galactic Nightly News' (cause I am fab at names yepyep)
- The scrolling text on the news reads: 'live coverage of the AI debate' as it is a live broadcasting
- Changing the colors in this thing to the gold theme and editing the characters out of the backgrounds was a nightmare and I do not recommend it (very glad I had a good copy of the Leroy movie at least xD)
- I also forgot to edit that very first picture of the room to have the golden space background in the windows... oops 😂😂
- The little pod camera was the only part I liked working with cause it's small and round and cute

MD2018 • Carlos || Experiments [Round 3 - Unfinished]

Experiment #638 - "Chiquito"
- is a top-notch tamale chef (the most important ability, yepyepyep)
- has a high protective instinct that, like other alebrijes, allows it to guard and protect others. Mostly from abuse, whether that be animal or human or endangered habitats.
- its other trait is that it survives much like a plant does, recycling carbon into oxygen in parallel to the flora the experiment protects.

This is such a jumbled mess, I know x'DDD
I was trying to juggle all the plots and important key points with all the stuff going on in my life too and it just wasn't happening. Almost decided not to do an entry, but during the last week, I got a lot of encouragement to do whatever I could and so here it is! All that I could fit into 5 days worth of editing :')

So if it looks rushed/is confusing, don't worry. Because it is xDDD

Lots of plots and scenes had to be cut entirely or shortened/hinted at instead. Which sadly, includes two reaaaaaaally big and important moments that heavily influence Carlos. While I'm gonna try and do a bonus video at some point in the future with those scenes, I tried to hint at them a little in this entry

SO TO HELP CLARIFY:
1) While creating his experiment, Carlos confesses to Emilia that he likes her after he gets a little too close to her (LE GASP, I KNOW!!)
2) To which Emilia then opens up about her own feelings for him - albeit complicated. She then confides in Carlos her current living nightmare: her parents are murdered and her sister is missing... though she suspects that maybe she is in the care of their uncle.
3) Her full last words to him before they are interrupted are: "Appreciate your family while you still have them, Carlos... you never know when you might lose them."

Personality Notes:
- Carlos is not a morning person (as you can probably guess XD)
His line at the beginning of the video means "Let me sleep in peace!"
- Carlos has definitely been feeling some feels for a special someone... can you guess who? ;)
- And so has Annika (tho she won't tell you that ;))
- The ones speaking during the blacked out part in the video without any facial connections are Mirela (purple) & Jim (yellow)
- "babaero" references back to Tala's R1 video where she calls him "playboy" in Tagalog
- Carlos loves food (especially tamales). It doesn't take him long to decide on that as his experiments' ability, but after some prodding and thinking, he adds in some more 'encompassing' uses.
- Like any creator, Carlos mirrors himself a little bit in "Chiquito". Besides them both sharing protective instincts, Carlos also tends to be a bit of a show off and doesn't apologize for being his own person. In this way, Chiquito is the same with his bright colors and sometimes rebellious attitude (the small be mighty and fierce ;))
- The reason Carlos chose 638's second ability stems from the big problems of violence (especially in Mexico City where Carlos is from) and the endangering of native animals and their habitats in Mexico

Editing Notes:
- The animation on the experiment image was done with the puppet tool - and was also my first time using that effect (DUN DUN DUN) It's so weird but cool??? Like why have I never used this before???
- Chiquito or 638 is made up of 4 different experiments from the Lilo & Stitch series: Finder (head), Melty (body/wings), Spats (ears), & Slugger (Tail). He is also made to look like a coati, which is a racoon-like animal native to Mexico, and is essentially an experimentally-made alebrije :3
- My favorite manip in all of this is my little hidden, dehydrated balls getting stored away. I DON'T KNOW WHY, I JUST THINK THEY LOOK SO CUTE ^^
- This song would fit this so much better if you knew all the scenes that happen and it makes me so saddddddd
- also I am a dummy cause I thought it'd be cool to change the star backgrounds in the lab to my own space pics... even tho it would literally save me hours of work since it's already 100% fine as is :')

MD2018 • Carlos || Ally Advantage [Bonus Round]

xXAmity0ParkXx 2018-02-21 | This will probably be the shortest and lamest of all the bonus round entries uploaded ever, but welp - here goes nothing!!

I wound up having to stick to just the 'voting' scene, since I can only do so much in a week with the computer I have (and my dwindling sanity woot!!) so hopefully this is okay xDD

Tis honestly my fault for deciding to have Sinbad hatless and forcing myself to mask all the new scenes :')

But no matter what, I absolutely wanted to be able to finish this round out and lend a helping hand to Stacey (mandssimons) who is one of the sweetest and most talented people I know, and deserves all the cheering up right now with everything going on :3

I know this isn’t the most amazing entry and I have no idea how many points it’ll give you, but hopefully helps you a little bit, Stacey! I LOVE YOUUUUU!! *huggles*

Also I reaaaaaally love the Grand Councilwoman in these dark, blue-highlighted backgrounds
I’m just sad that my coloring ruined my shots cause Carlos was sooooo dark, I had to add some fill light just to be able to see the grumpy remnants of his face xDDDDD

Round Premises:
Each contestant is given a chance to ally themselves with another contestant - either logically by what nations would benefit yours the most, or on a more personal level through choosing someone they've come to trust

Reasons for Carlos' Choice:
- Stacey is amazing and wonderful and deserves all the points for her hard work :3
- Jim is one of the few people that Carlos has had good, full conversations with and some understanding of their backstory thanks to being roommates
- Despite being a bit of a loner, Carlos gets along well with Jim and considers him a friend
- In the few interactions they have had together (including the scene with the ‘Max’ mix-up on the ship and the mugshot photo), Carlos is well aware that there’s something going on at home that puts Jim in danger; this is one big reason as to why Carlos allies with Jim, as a way of protecting him from whatever trouble he is in
- Mexico and the U.S. (though not on the best of terms atm, welp xD) have been allies before despite it being a back and forth relationship. Many also have family members that live on both sides of the border and thus a lot of interaction goes on between the two countries. Plus having a neighboring country as an ally isn’t such a bad idea either xD
- Carlos just does whatever he likes whenever he feels like it (which is always the most important ;)) and leads by his own rules rather than the ones people try to tell him to live by

Personality Notes:
- Carlos' drive to win stems from his want to prove himself good enough, all through his strength and his strength alone
- He doesn't want to have allies and doesn't think himself needing of one thanks to his sense of pride, though as he thinks a little on the matter after receiving some advice from the Grand Councilwoman, he finally makes the decision to ally with Jim, whom he trusts a little more than the others on the ship
- Carlos is also a protector towards those he trusts, and following the interesting photos that were revealed in the room he shares with Jim, his instincts can't help but kick in a little despite the fact he hasn't known the U.S. rep for very long

Editing Notes:
- I wasn't sure if we had to include a picture of our own character or not with the holograms, so I opted to show it with typical Carlos humor :')
- Also these holograms would just not work and so they look like little mini flying posters (tho everyone be looking on point :'D)
- The peeps are all sorted out by rooms and room number (though backwards because I am a ditz)
- The hologram details don't show up well due to me upping the brightness to compensate for Sinbad, so many apologies on that! (also don't know what that glow glitch between the Esme and Jim transition is, it looked fine in AE originally T.T)
- ""Me gusta este machote" is basically Carlos just calling himself manly while also not-so-subtly trying to pick himself (lil Latino baby just has a lot of desire to win, m'kay?)
- I had no idea what I was doing with this round and totally winged it - can you tell? xDDD

Well I don’t know how, but this round wound up being a lot worse than the first one x’DDD

I think basically all us contestants died with all the troubles we got hit with xD (some more literal than others, so sorry, Lucy!! *sends you get well hugs*)

My computer kept freezing AE every time I tried to save, it froze and crashed my render for the final vid... then my browser froze for two minutes so that it wasn't done processing in time and asdfghjkl

So many strugglessss, so many freakin painssssss xD

So yep, not exactly what I had in mind of uploading for ya guys hahaha But hopefully it’s decent enough to somehow miraculously stay in the competition :'D
(I am soooooo freakin out right now, like yikes)

Also huuuuuuge apologies once again to those I plotted with but wasn’t able to include our characters' interactions in my own entry due to time T.T
(gosh I gotta work on my plot showcasing xD)

But I did try and focus on a few interactions and important plots with people I didn’t get to showcase last round, all of which was a huuuge amount of fun (I LOVE ALL OF YOU GUYS SO MUCH :3)
I seriously think #TheLovableLoners of Room 3 is one of my favorite things ever now ;)

Personality notes:
- Carlos is surprised after he finds out that the locket Jon has actually belongs to Antonio as he doesn't see him as a sentimental sort of guy (not yet anyway ;))
- When his name is called, Carlos instantly feels anxious and his confidence dwindles. He wants to be picked, and now that it's his turn to either "make or break" his one chance at getting away from home, he doesn't want to leave
- The phrase he mutters during his scan references my R1 vid, where he is jealous of the 'lucky bastard' that would get to be plucked. Now it is him getting to not only be plucked, but continue in the competition - all of which he's more than ecstatic about and looks forward to the adventure
- Carlos doesn’t quite like the idea of roommates as he prefers to be by himself, and expresses that a little in his reactions. But he quickly warms up to Mirela and Jim as they begin talking about their pets – the one thing Carlos cares about and misses back home and finds a common bond between them :3
- Initially, he is worried about being locked inside the rooms – especially when he doesn’t like feeling caged up. Though Carlos is still Carlos, and attempts to recover his regular confidence by hiding his nerves (particularly at seeing a certain image from one rather tense night) … yet not well enough for his roommates not to spot
- All three of the roomies (Carlos, Mirela & Jim) have animal traveling companions, and I saw that as a naturally easy way for them to bond with each other despite different backgrounds and being (for the lack of a better word) 'loners' :3

Editing Notes:
- I decided not to show any of the Gaston scenes (as fun as it would have been) since Carlos is unfortunately in a lower-numbered group, buuuuut Carlos would have been VERY much amused with the situation xD
- Why are the flashback images so blurry? There be reasons I can't reveal as of yet, but just note for now that Carlos doesn't view it as a happy memory ;)
- Mirela (Esme) speaks broken English, which I tried to somewhat hint at by making my phrases simple and straightforward without emphasizing it too much xD Hopefully I did okay, Julia!

First off, I still can't believe I'm in this contest!?!? It's so surreal to me, so thank you so much for giving me that chance! I feel like I'm already blowing it right off the bat haha But it means so much and I'm deeply honored to be in here considering how much talent there is this season :3

Which speaking of which, everyone in the contest is so wonderful and soooooo sweet, and immensely supportive - even to someone like me who uploads trash like this x'DDD
So hugeeeeee thank you's to all of you for plotting with me and cheering me on ^^ I'm so sorry I wasn't able to actually fully edit any of the plots I had with you guys - makes me so bummed!! T.T

Unfortunately I had very little time/ability/motivation to edit this round as I got hit reaaaaally hard this month. Had constant and immensely frustrating computer issues with glitches and corrupted files all the day long, as well as personal issues, family loss... and a nice cold to top it off :'D

So yeah, it's definitely been a struggle xDDD

But here's hoping that this next month is much better! :3
And hopefully I won't have to make as many cuts to my next video, cause oh goshhhhh there are so many T.T

You can definitely tell where I had time/had a working computer and could actually edit things out and when I definitely didn't x'DDD

Y'all are the absolute best! ^^

Personality Notes:
- Carlos is pretty confident and cocky at this point, both because he is finally out of Mexico and cause he just left his brother in the dust which gives him an odd bit of satisfaction
- He isn't entirely confident however. While he may give off the impression he is, it's more of a mask as this is all still wild and new to him. To compensate, he tends to act out in certain ways like flirting or making sarcastic jokes
- Carlos gets most of his competitive strive when he feels like someone has one-up'ed him; hence why he confronted Antonio despite the fact the guy is intimidating. He can't let anyone get the best of him
- He is also very reserved when it comes to his personal life and his emotions. He plays off the interview and avoids Leah's questions mainly because he doesn't like people knowing his insecurities

Fun Editing Notes:
- The flag tag I created by hand and modeled after conference badges. I know it's wayyyy different than tags the others have all created, so I dearly hope that is okay x'DD
- Throughout the video, I included many details that you might have to pause for to read/notice ;) Look for any screens or parts with writing on them: all of them are filled with information about Carlos or are references to things (some more obvious than others xD)
- On the group listing boards, I gave every single NPC character a name modeled after famous people (mostly sport heroes) from that country. I also included the locations each member should be at (like if one happened to be in medical while the others waited their turn), which as luck would have it, somewhat coincides with the surprise reveal of the tags having trackers ^^
- Leah isn't flirting with Carlos while asking if he has a special someone, I promise! xD In my mind, causing a fight in the middle of the main hall and constantly flirting with girls would be pretty noticeable enough for the UGF to note about if they weren't already monitoring each of the plucked contestants. And being that her job is to pry and find out information, asking about things that she sees him respond or react to in prior instances is usually a good bet for getting him to finally talk to her, which is her real intent
- Why Pod number 52? It's the dialing code for Mexico. And the Medical Room is #365, modeled after a particular experiment who often sends people to a doctor ;)

I know, I'm shocked too xD

This is my part for Meli's Creepy Christmas mep, featuring horror stories centered around the holiday ;)

There are two different songs that are combined together for the entire project, and being the odd me, I decided to go with the transition part that has all the wind noises and creepy chimes and bells cause pfffffft I thought I could be clever and have this snow storm going on to help illustrate it xDDDD

Buuuuut my original idea of having her lost in the woods with Krampus stalking her didn't pan out... and neither did like 7 of my other ideas I had xDDD

Sooooo yes, there's this nice black section instead.
Hopefully it works well enough :')

Took me 8 tries before I wound up with my finished idea for this part, but I think it works well enough hahaha
And while there are LOTS of glitches and weird sections I'm still iffy about, I'm pretty proud of some of these manips individually so hooray! :'D

But as for the storyline, however, I'm gonna give you guys some fun and leave it up to you to create your own possible story as to what's happening/has happened to the characters ;)
(plus maybe it'll help my stuff look more cohesive than it actually is? Maybe? Possibly? XDDD)

But in the meantime, here is a tag I wanted to start after watching all these Disney movies while I've been off and on sick the past week or two :3

So many of these characters are funny and adorable or just downright enjoyable, but sometimes they aren't talked about either in the world or in the editing community and become forgotten until we randomly stumble upon them again and remember just how much we love them. And it got me wanting to showcase some of my favorite characters (whether side characters or main characters) to laugh and love on all over again :3

Granted this tag has been done several times with similar themes like underused or underrated charries, but it's always fun to do the rounds again and pick even more charming guys and gals ;)

So here are my top 5 'forgotten' characters that make me smile ^^
Feel free to jump in on the tag if it's something you'd like to tackle on too!

5) Merlin
I love how grumpy Merlin is and how it all makes the scenes with him all that more fun :3
Sword in the Stone isn't as high as far as popularity or favorite movies go, but it has such a near and dear place in my heart. It's not one of my first go-to picks either, but participating in TTWU got me watching it again and it's no wonder that a huge part of what makes it so fun for me is because of this cranky ol' wizard ;)

4) The Three Good Fairies
So I technically cheated on this one since it's three characters rather than one :')
But in my defense, these three are a package deal: you take all of them or none of them (except if I had to pick a favorite of the three, Merryweather is my favorite - hands down xDDD)

And while they aren't necessarily 'forgotten' being from one of the timeless classics, they aren't as popular and well-picked as other side characters and sometimes get pushed to the back of the line-up. Which is a shame, since they are so hilarious together xD

3) David
This guy, my hearttttttt!! :3
He's so sweet and caring... and his playful and romantic personality is adorable! He's not as used as far as editing or character choosing goes, but he's been rising in popularity lately and I love it!!

2) Captain Silver
Where to begin with Silver xDDDD
I love this pirate so much - it's sad that he isn't used as often, though given his cyborg-ness, it makes it rather hard unfortunately xD
But his heart and his personality and growth in the movie is one of my absolute favorites, and though he's more of a main character/villain, he's also one of those softies that you warm up to almost instantly and continue to love. Even when you realize he's the cyborg and should be against him, you still want him to succeed

1) Georges (aka the funny old guy from The Aristocats)
OHMYGOSH THIS SCENE CRACKS ME UP SO HARD!! And most of the time, I never think of him or this movie when editing or looking for a movie to watch. Yet whenever I do watch it and the scene comes up, I can't help but smile at how accurate this lil ol' man is xDDD

The struggle that was putting this thing together, phew!!!

It's a little over the deadline, so hopefully I made it on time. It looks sooooo rushed, I know ugh x'DDD

Originally, I had planned to have more cameos of other characters in the manips but deadlines and crashing computers and corrupted files made me have to cut out a LOT of stuff

Oh the joys of editing :')
*sits back and waits for the massive amounts of critique*

I doubt this'll get me in, but it was fun regardless and I'm super excited to watch the series when it starts either way :D

So here it is!! My audition for Sandra's "The Traitor Within Us" roleplay contest with my adorkable Milo :3

- Milo is born of very humble beginnings on a small farm with his Ma and Pa. More than anything, he loves learning and seeks to find it however he can. His parents used what little money they had to buy him books so he could teach himself how to read and write.
- He plans on traveling to the city in the hopes that he can find a scholar there that'd accept him as a student so he can get a formal education. But due to the fact he lives in such an isolated area, he did not know about the King's death or the execution, and walks right into the chaos unknowingly.
- He is very innocent and a bit of a dork, thinking outside the box for ways to make life a little more fun or easier for him and his family. But even though he tends to get laughed at more often than not, he's still confident in what he knows and in what he believes

- The book Milo is reading in the beginning is not a map or a guide at all. (;
- Milo is not afraid of magic or believes it to be evil. To him, it's another source of knowledge that he can't tap into yet due to the fact he wasn't born with it, doesn't have that much education, and hasn't 'experienced' or seen it. However, he understands that it can regretfully land into the wrong hands and cause pain, making any discussion on the war or magic in general a rather taboo subject in the village where he's from since it affected many of the families there.
- But while he admires the idea of magic, Milo believes it to have been lost after the war, and is shocked to find out that it not only still exists, but that somehow, it ended up inside of him.
- The sudden attacks on the people in the crowd hit by the traitor's magic left Milo frozen in place, not knowing where to run or what to do. If not for Al, he probably wouldn't have moved and been forced to see the bloody aftermath... and possibly become a part of it.
