After our last winter adventure, I noticed a puddle under the Frontier… which is never a good sign.
Turns out that big hit on the frozen trail did more damage than I realized. The diff cover took it right on the chin and bent just enough to break the seal, dumping fluid everywhere overnight.
Today I’m tearing into it, figuring out what actually happened, and fixing the mess so the truck is ready for the next trip.
No music, no fluff, just real shop work, busted parts, and the truth of what overlanding in twenty below will do to a rig with a lot of miles.
