On this episode of The Skid Factory we crack open Al's failed PowerGlide Transmission to get to the bottom of the failure that occurred at Summernats while doing a burnout.
Fortunately we have just the man for the job, Mark.
Mark's an old mate who is a Mechanic, Car Builder, Drag Racer, Transmission Specialist and a Permanent Marker Artist.
We find the problem, address the reasons for failure and replace the necessary parts while giving you an overview of how a simple transmission like the 'Glide operates.

The Z32 300ZX engine bay is starting to get very crowded with the RB30DETT engine and a pair of GTX28 turbos residing in there. This week we continue filling it with more parts. Al fabricates a full stainless steel exhaust from turbos back and then fits up the new Plazmaman intake manifold.
A few more major jobs ticked off the list and we are closer to first start.
