We all purchase files from time to time. If you want to modify the file you purchased to make it your own it can be tricky depending how it was drawn. In this video, I will show you some basic things to check before you get to modifying your purchased file. Some file creators are better than others and learning how to fix files that aren’t that well constructed can be a complete game changer. You will learn how to identify open shapes(one of the biggest reasons you can’t do what you want). How to make them a closed shape, how to use the weld tool. Basic node editing will be used.

You can use the offset tool to fix this as well but it doesn’t always work!
