The TL1000S lives again! In this video. “According to this very kind MOT tester, my rear shock is about as useful as a pogo stick in a thunderstorm. Worn bushes. Seized linkage. Damping? Non-existent.”
So I replace the rear suspension unit on my Suzuki TL1000S using a second-hand spring and banana joint I picked up from eBay. Watch as I clean it up, check for wear, regrease the joints, and get it fitted back onto the bike. If you're keeping an old V-twin beast like this on the road, this kind of maintenance is a must.

🔧 Bike: Suzuki TL1000S
🔧 Tools used: 14mm Spanner, Socket set and Torque wrench and a bit of grease under the fingernails — just how we like it.
