The Thomas & Friends AEG Metal Engine toys look amazing. Finally there are toy trains that look just as you see in the 2D Thomas show. But James would look better with black wheels and silver flanges. By using a Texta / Sharpie / Bic or whatever paints a nice black line I carefully paint in one section of the wheel area. Along the way I have a nice adult chat with my audience explaining a few weird things I see going on that I don't understand. To fix James's faint line artwork requires a deep dive into fine line marker pens and that's going to be another video at some point. James will look much better with nice black defined line work.
Hot Wheels single cars is constantly in short supply. Over and over I see empty pegs and nothing to purchase or collect. It's amazing this same issue keeps repeating over and over in major retail shops. I predict that the same supply chain problems that have been seen for a few years now will continue. My simple advice is if you see a toy now in store grab it. Chances are it won't be there in the lead up to Christmas.
