In this repair adventure, I take on two forgotten pieces of tech: a classic Corsair CX430 power supply that refuses to power on and a dead UPS unit in desperate need of a battery transplant. Will they live to see another day, or is this the final shutdown? Join me as I crack them open, test the components, and attempt to bring this duo back from the dead—with just a multimeter, a fresh battery, and a whole lot of hope. Sparks may fly!
The power supply has be on from the day it was installed. I have all my customers leave computers on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They restart or reboot every week or two, but the computers always STAY ON. 11 years later, this PSU (power supply unit) starting making a buzzing sound. We fix it live in today's video!
