My TC Electronics Headstock tuner broke recently. Instead of buying a new one, I came up with a cheap way to replace the hinge pin. I bought a pack of cable tie (aka zip tie) from my local hardware store and ran it through the top of the tuner to attach it to the clip.

This was the first track I produced when I started my music production journey. It ended up being kind of a 1970s film noir soundtrack kind of interpretation. I had it sitting on a hard drive unsure what to do with it, so I gave it a much needed re-mixing and re-mastering, and made a tribute video out of it featuring key some key scenes for each character.
This was also my first video editing project so please forgive the lack of slickness. I know the frame rates are super fast but it was the only way I could fit all the characters into 3:42 - and hey, the play speeds for early 1990s RPGs are painfully slow anyway, so I think it kind of works :)

Itโs in the key of G flat Major and is one of the catchiest songs in the entire canon of NES music. The game itself is also a great play through. Itโs like Mega Man, but with ducks.

One of the best things about this project has been the discussions that have emerged with other Bach enthusiasts. Bachs music is filled with so much wisdom, and its been a tremendous learning experience for me to hear about how others experience and perceive it.
As I was preparing this track for posting this morning, I made a last minute decision to slow the tempo down from where I had it. Its interesting to see how my own perception of the piece has changed over these past few months.

Pokรฉmon Ruby Version[a] and Pokรฉmon Sapphire Version[b] are 2002 role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokรฉmon Company and Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. They are the first installments in the third generation of the Pokรฉmon video game series, also known as the advanced generation. After years of Nintendo being the sole publisher of the franchise in all regions, The Pokรฉmon Company co-published the games for the first time since the establishment of the joint-owned company in 1998. They were first released in Japan in late 2002, and internationally in 2003. Pokรฉmon Emerald, a third version, was released two years later in each region. Remakes of the two games, titled Pokรฉmon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, were released for the Nintendo 3DS worldwide in November 2014, exactly twelve years to the date of the original Ruby and Sapphire release date, with the exception of Europe, where it released a week later.
The gameplay is mostly unchanged from the previous games; the player controls the main character from an overhead perspective, and the controls are largely the same as those of previous games. As with previous games, the main objectives are to catch all of the Pokรฉmon in the games and defeat the Elite Four; also like their predecessors, the games main subplot involves the player character defeating a criminal organization that attempts to take over the region. New features, such as double battles, Pokรฉmon abilities, Pokรฉmon Contests, and 135 new Pokรฉmon were added.[1][2][3] Owing to the increased capabilities of the Game Boy Advance, four players may be connected to each other at a time instead of the previous limit of two. Additionally, the games can be connected to an e-Reader or other third-generation Pokรฉmon games.
