OpenWorks | Fixed-wing SkyAI and Vision Flex slew-to-cue from ART Radar over SAPIENT at NATO TIE @OpenworksengineeringLtd | Uploaded January 2022 | Updated October 2024, 12 minutes ago.
At NATO TIE, SAPIENT allowed the OpenWorks SkyAI module to be connected to the ART radar and C2 system in a matter of minutes. UAS (drones) in the airspace were detected by the ART radar and the SkyAI module was then cue'd onto the target autonomously without operator input. The SkyAI module controls the camera to search for the UAS based on the radar data, the AI computer vision detection locates the UAS in the video feed and then locks on to it. SkyAI autonomously IDs the UAS as a fixed-wing target and reports that back to the C2 system.
