For some reason, Nintendo either forgot to play or intentionally killed the propeller sounds. The Propeller Mushroom never appears as an item inside a level in all of NSMBU and NSLU, so, they might have missed it.

I made a code hack to play the sounds as intended.

As a bonus for making it here into the description, I may be working on something big relating to items. ;)
