The DJI Mavic 3 Cine GPS satellite acquisition time is way too long and this has been known for a while. I decided to quantify my experience versus the older Mavic 2 Pro. DJI’s Twitter Support has stated they know of the problem and are working on a fix, so this test is also a baseline for when that fix is released.

TLDR: 6 minutes and 20 seconds to get enough satellites to record a Return to Home location. The Mavic 2 Pro was less than 2 minutes.
