Jess for letting me be a backup for your mep! I figured this movie is kinda under-edited, and like I said earlier, I've always wanted to make this edit!

So, this video is kinda special to me, mainly for sentimental reasons. It's a simple edit but I had fun with it. Most people know that I started editing because of my story for Oncie & Punzie. (#OTPLove) but ever since I saw Oncie's movie, I always felt, "Man, Someone should edit about how terrible his mother was and how the whole reason he went bad was because all he wanted was his family's approval and love." I'm sure their are probably a ton of videos out there that showcase that, but once I heard the part I needed to edit as a backup, this idea came bounding to the front of my mind.
"When you try your best but you don't succeed" - Oncie tried so hard to prove that his invention worked, tried his best to please his family, and then because he got caught up in it all he lost it all.
"When you get what you want but not what you need." - He 'got' his family which is what he thought he wanted, he also got, wealth, his thneed business was booming BUT when he lost it all he found out he NEVER had what he needed...his family's love and the genuine love and approval of his mother. Hence the reason for the voiceover. I hope I was able to showcase just a little the lack of love in his life. XD, I fix that in my story. xD xD
Also, I want to say a huge thank you to Michon Elise, for her wonderful "Watch Me Edit" video that she made for me! **Hugs** I tried some of the effects and long fades that you mentioned and your right, I love the flow!! **Hugs** Thank you so much, Michon!

Okay, I am sooooooo happy with how this turned out!! This is my mep part for TimelessTalesStudios Paradise MEP. Theme: Non/Disney Cinematography! I wanted to showcase some of the beautiful animation, backgrounds, and etc from the Prince of Egypt, but I also wanted to showcase Moses journey.
The Bible story is about God asking Moses to lead his people out of slavery and into the Promised Land! A land flowing with milk and honey, a paradise!
I also wanted to showcase Moses personal journey to that place! He lived in A PALACE! He was a son of Pharaoh (Adopted) he was living in what some would consider a paradise but after he learned of his true heritage and murdered one of the slave drivers, he ran. He ran into the desert and there he met his wife Tzipporah found peace and God. It was a new lifestyle and a new type of Paradise, then God called him to lead His people out of Egypt, and thus the journey began to freedom and Paradise! While there is a whole lot more to this story than what the movie showed, its still amazes me, and makes me want to continue the journey of faith in God, because as the Bible says Those who confess with their mouth and Believe in their hearts that Jesus is Lord, they will be saved. Eternity with Jesus, in Paradise!
Also, may I add that the scripture He came to set the captives free! is fitting for this MEP part too! To me the Israelites are perfect examples of captivity; captivity of the mind, of the body, of our lives, health, peace, etc. Yet, like Moses said in the movie. Pharaoh can take away, your food, take away your sons and daughters, with one word Pharaoh can take away your very lives... but there is one thing he cant take away from you; your faith. I believe that is fitting today- The world, culture, friends, family, our enemies, spiritual and physical enemies, can come and try to take away our hope, our love, our happiness, our lives, our peace of mind, our sanity, and our willingness to live, but they cant take away our faith. That alone is something we would have to relinquish, and we dont have too. Keep holding on, keep staying strong, keep marching on!! Because through Jesus, we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS!!

IM NOT DEAD!!!!!! Whoooohooooo!! I just finished my last class and now Im on break!! Thus, I have a new MEP part! I am sooo sorry I havent been active recently, life became crazy and busy and something had to give, sadly it was editing. Im super excited and happy to be back now for a bit! Also, I now have Sony Vegas!! AH!!!! This edit was made on it, but Im still learning the ropes so I dont really see a huge difference except that I used an overlay setting with Anita. XD I cant wait to learn more though! Honestly it was a God thing how I got it and I cant be anymore happy about it than I am!
As for this video, I hope you enjoy all the Anita & Roger cuteness! Honestly, I never knew how many adorable scenes they had together outside of well known park scene & dance scene! I hope to edit with them more in the near future and feature more of their moments.
