A good design doesn’t always make for a good product!
These are the 5 design mistakes I see most often when talking to Print on Demand sellers.
Each one is easy to fix before your file goes to print.
1️⃣ Semi-transparency in DTG files
2️⃣ Text too small to embroider
3️⃣ Colors outside the printable gamut
4️⃣ Radial gradients in embroidery
5️⃣ Wrong product type for your design
📌 Quick reference:
- DTG printer limitations: Keep opacity at 100%
- Embroidery text: At least 1/4 inch tall & 1/20 inch thick
- Color: Design in sRGB, not CMYK
- Gradients: Linear only, never radial
- Products: AOP for full coverage, DTG/DTFlex for chest and back
