In this video I introduce a new Python AutoStretch script that allows you to adjust the preview stretch interactively, making it much easier to evaluate your astrophotography images during processing.
One of the biggest benefits of this tool is that it helps deal with the blocky or patchy AutoStretch view that often appears after denoising or star removal in Siril. The default AutoStretch can exaggerate those artifacts, making it difficult to judge the real quality of your data. With this script, you can adjust the stretch parameters to get a much more useful preview of your image.
