I love shooting into the sun, but oftentimes it comes with one major drawback: sun flare. Sun flare can be distracting from the rest of your scene, and the best photographers know how to clean it up to produce polished images.
The best way to remove sun flare is actually to take an additional image with your hand over the sun. This will block the flare, which you can then mask in later in Photoshop. This technique is easy to use, provided you remember to shoot an additional image in the field.
