If your Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is crashing and giving you the message An Unreal Process Has Crashed: UE-HLLVietnam This tutorial will guide you on how to fix this.
Set Game to Run in DirectX 12 or 11 Mode
-dx12 or -dx11
Still not working? Try adding one of the following to your Steam launch options:
-dx12 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=system
Alternatively:
-dx11 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=system
Some players may also see improved stability by:
Setting in-game graphics settings to High.
Disabling the In-Game Overlay within AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition. Or disabling the Steam overlay
Verify Game Files (Steam)
Update GPU Drivers
Also, some users reported that the “Click any button to continue” screen appears earlier than it is supposed to. If you click it at that point, the game may break and crash.
When this screen appears, wait about 5 seconds. A new screen with a disclaimer should appear, followed by the intended “Click any button to continue” screen. You can then click a button and continue normally.
It seems to be a bug where clicking the button too early interferes with the game’s execution.
Or wait for the opening cinematic of the game and not click away fast to launch the game. Try to wait 30-40 secs before clicking
If it still fails, go to your game directory: Hell Let Loose: Vietnam → HLLVietnam → Binaries → Win64
Right-click on HLLVietnam-win64-shipping
Select Compatibility
And follow the instructions
