Sometimes frizz isn’t because the curl is wrong. It’s because the hairs inside the clump have gotten webbed together and need to be gently smoothed back into place.
Instead of pulling the curl apart, try this:
• Use wet fingers and lightly rake just enough to smooth the inside
• Think of your hands like a brush, not a detangler
• Twirl or scrunch to guide it back into a curl clump
• Avoid separating clumps that are already intact
Refreshing should be targeted and minimal, not starting over.
