Using the Portkeys BM5 III WR monitor with you RED KOMODO you can add a function button to get a REC button on the left side of the camera. Mind blown.

To program the button simply add the shortcut within the menu system to slot 1-4 depending on which button you want to use. I put in on the first one for simplicity.
