A major weekend highway connector closure could affect the travel plans for drivers heading through Sacramento. The latest Fix 50 Project work will require a 55-hour, full closure of the connector that runs off of Highway 99 northbound onto Highway 50 westbound, according to Caltrans. The closure is scheduled to run from 9 p.m. Friday through Monday at 5 a.m.
