This is a book I've been meaning to get to for forever. Thank you the #asianreadathon for spurring me to it! It's a sad, but brilliant and hopeful story about a family during the Japanese occupation in Korea, and the start of WWII, told a simple way for young people to understand. I loved it. Instant five star read.
