This was the only train and railroad crossing I recorded on June 19, 2024. That day, I was photographing the CSX Blue Ridge Subdivision in North Carolina. (Pre-Hurricane Helene, may go back for reshoots.) When I was getting up to the Kingsport Subdivision in Erwin, I saw a northbound coal train going through, and I would say that this may be my chance to get a crossing recorded on the Kingsport Sub again, because I consider this line to be somewhat hard to get action thanks to the mountainous terrain of the former Clinchfield main.
