Five Nights at Freddy’s 3. Often considered to be one of, if not the weakest in the series, and while understandably so as it didn’t live up to the expectations of the first two games, I think this one goes under appreciated.
Most notably it introduced the main antagonist of the series - Springtrap. That cannot be understated. This game also has by far the best of use of cameras in the entire series. While not every camera is useful, most of them are, and some have tradeoffs. It’s a good risk reward game. This is also where the story originally capped off, with the original victims having been set free. Of course nowadays it’s far from the end, but at the time it was a wonderful note to end on.
For the longest time, I too was victim to calling this the weakest of the series, but over the last year or two I’ve come to appreciate it a whole lot more, especially with a new perspective of the other games.
