Those those that don't know The Banana Splits was an American television variety show produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and featuring the Banana Splits, a fictional rock band composed of four funny animal characters in red helmets.
But then in 2019 it had a movie "A horror movie" the plot of the movie is a family attends a live taping of The Banana Splits television series, but are forced to survive as soon as the characters go haywire and start a killing spree around the studio.
Basically it has been compared to Five Nights at Freddy's and I can see the comparisons and I believe if my memory serves me right, the script was originally going to be the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie after Warner Bros. rejected Scott Cawthon’s initial draft. But because Scott didn’t like the new direction the film was going, he decided to abandon the project and work with a different studio, taking the FNAF rights with him.
So I still haven't seen this movie I have seen reaction, and reviews of it and I might get it as one of my film collection because I found it to be a very funny yet interesting and intriguing Idea to make something that was originally made for little kids and turn them into Horror movies imaging if someone did that to Sesame Street?😆
