Before it closed earlier this year, Steuart Hill Academic Academy was housed in an innovative building on the western edge of Union Square. As neighbors and families work to make sure that the building’s next use will continue to be an asset to the local community, we thought we would add a little history about this part of town, what used to be here and the modern building we have now!
