On the first really warm day in spring of southern Michigan (though it would snow a week later), Connie Barlow encountered these 5 garter snakes in a deciduous forest, near logs, and very near the Huron River of Ypsilanti, Michigan. The day was 10 April 2022 (the video end slide conveys the wrong date).
