We all have our favorite characters - Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man, Ryu...there's millions of options. But sometimes formulas run stale - so game publishers and developers have to take a chance with their IP to either inject life into flailing franchise, or to roll the dice on a non-traditional gameplay style for the character.
In today's short, I'm looking at five of my favorite 'risks' for the classic franchises of Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, Pokemon, Pac-Man, and Street Fighter.
