I'm so excited to finally release this remix. What an amazing opportunity to be able to work with vocals from the legend, Bootsy Collins. I've been a huge Funkadelic and Parliament fan for years. I've seen them perform live twice, bought several t-shirts, I'm a big big fan. I've also seen Five Alarm Funk live three times and got a t-shirt haha! Honestly, I'm a big fan of them too. I think they have a similar energy and stage presence to Parliament and Funkadelic. They're raw, psychedelic and have like 20 members haha!

So to have Bootsy Collins singing on this track is such a perfect match. And I feel like I was the right person to remix this track because I'm the cringy nerdy super fan! I'm really happy with how the remix turned out. I wrote this remix quite a while back now but I remember it being an exciting challenge to work with so many different layers of instruments and vocals. Like SO MANY. But nothing beats listening to Bootsy's isolated vocals for the first time. That was a real treat.

I hope you like what I did with the remix and I hope you enjoy the artwork and video animation. I designed this artwork and put together the video animation and I'm really proud of how everything turned out. I'm just feeling very proud of this whole release and honoured to work with these amazing artists who I respect and am inspired by every day.
