So at the beginning of this year, MackBookPro uploaded a cover of a song from some obscure PC-98 game called Rhyme Star. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anosv7e_a5k
And that eventually led me to listen to the soundtrack and fall in love with it. I decided to throw my hat into the ring of Rhyme Star love by covering one of its songs too, and this was the result. The weird thing about this game is, as far as Ive ever been able to tell, there is no footage of it online, anywhere. Expect a Lets Play? Or something of this game in the future, because I recently got the ROM for the game and I want to show it to people because its pretty cool. Next up on the Metroid covers is... Metroid Fusion?? Aawwhaaa??? I felt like itd be better to do them out of order because some of them are bigger than others. This one is the simplest of my Metroid covers so I didnt want it to be last. Metroid II is next, then my love Super Metroid last
Anyway Metroid Fusion is another one of my loves. Like seriously I think this game might be in my top ten ever. Fucking amazingly executed, the tension and fear and horror, and a really well-put together story that just hits so hard oh my GOD what an underrated game. This song stood out to me in the various dope boss themes. I actually especially liked it with the spider boss, but Serris is a lot more well-known and cooler. I really wanna do more substantial covers from this game though because theres so much good music in it aaaaa")

I also just got inspired to make this cover because I didnt see one that I really loved (no shade to the other covers out there, just didnt do it for me). And so I figured itd be a good sequel to my Porkys Porkies cover, which has become one of my most popular videos! I think this cover really captures the essence and vibe of the original.")

Ohhh boy. This has been a long time coming, so prepare for a long description because I have some stuff to say. I started this project back in 2016, but at the time I wasnt good enough to make the soundtrack how I wanted to, so though I had nearly finished it, I ended up shelfing the entire thing. Then, about 6 months ago, I decided I had finally reached a point where I could do the project justice. So, here we are!
I did 8 unique remixes of the dungeon theme, which was one of my favorite aspects of this project. I also have three different overworld themes, depending on where Link is in the video. Finally, I have two boss themes, including the main boss theme based on the one I arranged 4 years ago. With all that, I think Ive fully fleshed out what was originally a pretty bare bones soundtrack.
Of course, this is all heavily inspired by RushJet1, and his Mega Man Remade series. Its my absolute favorite chiptune project Ive ever heard, as you could probably gather from the multiple Mega Man Remade-inspired things on this channel. My main goal with this was to create something at his level of quality, and though Im not sure Ive exactly hit it, Im still really proud of how this turned out, and I think it shows how far Ive come since I started uploading music to this channel.
Finally, about the video itself. Its pretty long, and a lot of it is repetitive, so Id recommend going to the Bandcamp link to listen to the songs individually. Im also not a video editor, so there might be some errors or unprofessional things in this video. Sorry about that.")

My submission to LoneRabbits CRUNCHTIME OST Composing Jam! I made all this in 48 hours! This non-existent game features an angel and a devil, Angi and Luci, rushing towards each other from heaven and hell. Each character would have 4 stages to complete, each of which would be a 30-second nonstop tough-as-nails platforming challenge with music similar in length and in intensity. At the end of the game they meet in Portland, Oregon, and have an EPIC encounter!! What will be the result of this fateful meeting?! Listen to find out!!
I cant fit it in the title because I wanted to make sure I put in the other info, but this is made in Dn-Famitracker of course. It was kind of hell to crank out in 48 hours lolol, especially with a few hours taken up by things I couldnt control. But I hope you like it! Every song is super short but I put a *lot* into each one.
