Fishy Filament is one of the more unusual materials I've tested. Instead of being made from virgin polymer, this nylon filament is produced from recycled fishing nets. But does the sustainability story come with good mechanical properties, or is it just an interesting concept?
In this video, I test Fillamentum Fishy Filament using the same methodology as all previous materials on this channel. Tensile strength, layer adhesion, impact resistance, creep resistance, temperature resistance, and more. Let's see how nylon made from recycled fishing nets compares to other engineering filaments.
