The Holcombe Flowage, located in Chippewa County, Wisconsin, is a 2,881-acre reservoir on the Chippewa River with a maximum depth of 62 feet. Known for its sprawling bays, rocky points, and weed beds, it’s a hotspot for musky, walleye, smallmouth bass, and panfish. The mix of river current and lake structure makes every trip a new adventure.
🎣 Fun fact: The Holcombe Flowage was created in 1950 when the Holcombe Dam was built — and it’s still one of the best spots in northern Wisconsin for trophy muskies!
