A quick demo of how to catch fish with the trolling motor on a bass boat.
Theres a line just up from the waterfall that you can drive backwards and forwards just twitching. I find it works better going backwards because you can see more but it works either way.
Technique: cast short (between 25 and 40 feet), drive boat - can hold or tap S. Hold down right click (raise rod) and tap left click to initiate twitching. You will notice the twitching icon lasts a long time so you don't need to wind much. Fish will automatically hook on though you will miss some, but not from winding while they are about to bite. It doesnt matter that the lure is at the surface, if anything they seem to bite more there. Also you can do this with really short distance from the boat to minimise the fight time, just don't let the lure bounce out of the water as you twitch.
This method is not always as quick as the video, if you don't get a bite in a couple of passes, then advance the time and try again. In this spot you will also sometimes hook Catfish (when changing direction) and Nile Perch
