Big boats. Big fish. Big egos. This is GAMEX — Australia's longest game fishing comp, held in Exmouth, one of the world's premier game fishing destinations. Some people travel stupid distances to get here. Some bomb it all the way up the west coast. Others fly across the country. And they're all here for one reason: to drink as many beers as possible — and maybe catch a billfish.
To get the inside scoop on this comp, The Captain jumps onboard with Exmouth local skipper Brendan Hawker on his 44ft O'Brien, along with a handful of other familiar faces.
Fill up your jerry cans, stock the fridge, and grab your tag pole. Some records may be broken.
