I went fishing for river monsters!

I used to go fishing for pike and trout all the time when I was younger, my PB is a 27lb pike from a stretch or river local to me, but after having a family and a business to run I just couldn't find the time anymore.
This was a great day out fishing for river monsters with Dean and even though we didn't catch any pike or trout, we still had a good laugh!
There was another fisherman that turned up close to our swim on the river and he was fly fishing. He managed to catch a fish and then moved on shortly after.
This gave us some hope that we would also catch some fish but the river gods weren't on our side that day.
