We went ice fishing for lake trout in Jan at Lake Louise Alaska. It was -38 F when we got on the ice and we had a ball doing a massive trout catch and cook. In addition to some awesome trout recipes we also tried some traditional native Alaskan foods including seal oil, raw seal meat and raw white fish in seal oil.
