Try and guess if these aquatic animals are fish or not fish! Lots of animals live in the water, not just fish. to be a fish, an animal must have a backbone and live in the water its whole life. Most fish also have fins, gills, and scales, but there are exceptions to the rules, which makes the question of whether something is a fish or not more complicated than you might think.
