In our first time watching Gravity Falls Season 2 Episode 15, “The Last Mabelcorn,” we were not prepared for how personal this one gets. What starts as a sparkly side quest for a unicorn hair to help Ford protect the Mystery Shack from Bill Cipher quickly turns into one of the sharpest character check-ins the show has given us so far. Mabel is chosen because she’s supposedly “pure of heart,” but instead of a magical affirmation, she runs into a group of glitter-covered unicorns who absolutely dismantle that idea in the pettiest, most judgmental way possible. It’s hilarious, chaotic, and surprisingly honest.
