Welcome to my new series where I travel around and operate my bucketlist machines...a big thank you to Shearforce equipment and blackfoot metals for making this one possible.
The biggest thing I learned while running the shear is how crappy I did. I mean, I had no real game plan on how to cut up a truck frame efficiently and didn't even know where to start...
That said, I guess that's what makes a good shear operator. Having experience, and knowing what to cut, and how to dissect objects efficiently with some sort of system.
All in all I had a great time. Next I'm going to learn how to be a logger, and hopefully I'll be able to film it a bit better.
