Welcome to Shanghai Disneyland, the largest Disney park outside of Disney World. This Chinese park is well know among Disney fans for two main reasons, the new Zootopia Land and the best version of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride named Pirates of the Caribbean Battle for the Sunken Treasure.

As true Disney adults, we are here to explore and experience everything that Shanghai Disneyland has to offer and we are fully planning on doing all the rides, watch all the shows and parades and of course eat as much Disney food as we possibly can!
On day one, we immediately ran to Zootopia as crowed levels can be very high later in the day cause a wait to simply enter the land. First on the agenda, we decided to ride Zootopia Hot Pursuit which fully met our expectations as true Zootopia fans. This is a ride that everyone will appreciate. The rest of the land is truly beautiful with a level of details that is unmatched. Don't forget to try the Jumbo Pop.
The rest of the park has a lot to offer. first things first, the Disney castle in Shanghai is the largest and most beautiful of all. It even includes a boat ride going under the castle named Voyage to the Crystal Grotto.
Shanghai Disneyland had a lot of very unique Disney food that were heavily Chinese inspired which was amazing to see. When visiting this theme park in China, get out of your comfort zone and forget the burgers and get yourself a duck leg in turnip sour soup.
Otherwise, in terms of rides, there are many Disney classic like Peter Pan's Flights, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Soarin' Around the World and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. But there are also some unique ones like Roaring Rapids, Challenge Trails at Camp Discovery and once again the best Pirates of the Caribbean ride of all.
Overall, we truly had a magical time Shanghai DIsney and make sure to never miss the night time show called Illuminate A Nighttime Celebration.
