Today I’m testing the Yashica Mat for the very first time. This twin-lens reflex camera came into my hands recently, and before I commit to using it for real shoots, I need to make sure it actually works — no light leaks, no mechanical issues, and that the lens produces sharp, clean images.
In this video, I load up a roll of 120 medium format film and take the Yashica Mat out for a quick shoot. I’ll share my first impressions, how it handles compared to other TLRs I’ve used, and the final results straight from the scans.
