![Tales of Xillia Milla Solo: Veywind Eye [No Items/Unknown/No Damage]
My favorite monster boss is back :D
Game Modifications:
-Modified the party
-Activated Millas magic stance normals
Strategy:
This guy is kind of like a monster version of Gaius 1 except easier. It has two counters: Cross Breaker and Slash Arm. Both of them are fairly easy to backstep, even with Millas bad backstep. Slash Arm only unlocks below 50% HP, so its a bit trickier to get used to the timing since it occurs less and its quite a bit quicker than Cross Breaker. Since its easy to backstep its attacks, I can play pretty back and forth with it. These counters also dont reach very high so it allows me to do some aerial stuff too. I can also dodge Cross Breaker with Radiant Rondo, although I did find Slash Arm to be much more dangerous to dodge with it.
You might notice that I chained multiple spells in a row in mid-air. This is just me chaining multiple Aerial Spell Glitches in a row. Its pretty fun to do!

![Tales of Eternia Shizel Solo: Efreet [No Items/Hardcore/No Damage]
No game audio cause I had my stream settings on and Im not willing to re-do this fight lol.
Game Modifications:
-Modified party, stats, accessories, and arte list
Strategy:
If you know about Efreet, you know that the biggest obstacle in doing this fight is his mid-fight mystic arte Explosion Nova. Its actually a spell that he can cast instantly provided that he doesnt have an attack queued up. Its impossible to dodge once he casts it so the only way to deal with it is to prevent it.
My strategy at the start involves alternating between jump attacks and Aqua Edge. The jump attacks let me dodge attacks and buy time to cast Aqua Edge. If I can get Aqua Edge off, Im very safe due to i-frames and it does a lot of damage since hes weak to water. This strategy requires Efreet to continuously use his charge attack which is basically a 50/50 at the start of the fight so each time he attacks is a coinflip lol. The reason Im doing this is to deal a decent amount of damage while not losing any ground. I need space to my left so that I have enough time to cast Holy Lance after running away from Efreet. My plan here is to run backwards and cast Holy Lance to get beneath the threshold for Explosion Nova. Holy Lance isnt enough to get Efreet below 50% HP on its own despite its very high base damage, so the Aqua Edges are extremely necessary. After the Holy Lance, I cast Spark Wave. This is where Explosion Nova gets canceled. He walks up to me, gets his attack canceled by Spark Wave, then tries to cast Explosion Nova in the middle of Spark Wave which obviously gets canceled. I was unsure about this at first due to the lack of visual cues but its the only possible place where he could have tried to use it. Efreet insta-casts Explosion Nova below 50% and after hes used his last queued attack so he absolutely would have used it after his attack at 0:35 if he hadnt already used it.
After this, I spam my insta-cast spells and pray that he doesnt kill me until he queues up a spell (more RNG yay). Once he queues up a spell, hell start walking backwards. If I walk right behind him, he will keep walking away from me until he hits the wall. The reason why this happens is because Efreet needs to be a certain distance away from me to cast his spell so hell keep walking backwards until he gets that distance or he has no room to walk. Once he reaches the wall, I cast Spark Wave to spell queue him and then I start pelting him with spells while kiting backwards with my newfound space. I finish him off by running to the left after a few spells and casting Holy Lance which deals a ton of damage again.
